Brad Keselowski made his third successive win Sunday at the opening playoff race in Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but a fourth straight win seems unlikely as NASCAR heads to Richmond’s short track for Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400.
Richmond is a level, 3/4-mile track that’s quite like New Hampshire’s and Phoenix’s apartment monitors. Drivers who have had success at those tracks have been contenders at Richmond.
Phoenix and New Hampshire was seen by NASCAR once each sooner. In the desert, Kevin Harvick took the checkers, but Kyle Busch led the most laps. Harvick also won New Hampshire, but it was Kurt Busch leading the most laps.

Keselowski completed 15th and 32nd at Phoenix and New Hampshire this year, but he’s finished 11th or better in the past six races at Richmond. A top-10 appears likely for the No. 2 team, but there are drivers more healthy for its short-track racing on Saturday.
